The Classic Fun Center in Orem (formally Classic Skating) underwent an extreme makeover in 2011 adding a Space Station climbing zone, a bounce area featuring "Jurassic Bounce," a cafe, and additional games.

"The Rink: The blue-ish oval is wide open to circle around and around. There are numbers and other decals on the floor for games — remember the DJ calling everyone out for “Hokey Pokey” on skates? Multi-colored lights flash over the floor while music blares over the speakers. A projection screen shows slides, but at one point in the afternoon, it was showing music videos.
The Carpeting: That familiar black carpeting with the multi-colored streamer and confetti pattern still lines the outside areas of the rink, complete with carpeted benches to lace up your skates. Don’t get me wrong, everything is clean and in good repair. I was just surprised that there is someone out there who still makes that carpet.
Variety: As I made my way around the rink, Grace lapped me quite handily, but as she sailed by, she said, “You’re a really good skater, Mom.” And she meant it, too. At least I didn’t fall down. We purchased an all activity pass, which includes the rink, the inflatables, and 10 tokens for the arcade. There are some great, easy arcade games for pre-schoolers, who can rack up a few tickets for little prizes.
Classic is a great place to really play WITH your kids, not just watch them play. I even did my share of bouncing down the slides and chasing them through the inflatable obstacle course. All that bouncing, however, caused me to retire my skates long before Grace was tired of scootering."

"Classic is great because no matter what age or skill level, their is something for everyone! The kids could skate, Rollerblade or bring a scooter from home. The kids had a blast playing classic games like, wipe out, girls only and boys only skate offs, and of course the hokie pokie.
In addition to the kids loving to roll around on the skate floor they also got to jump, slide, and bounce around on several inflatable toys that were set up in the middle of the skate floor. In between all the fun skating games were bouncing games too! One of our lil’ monkeys beat all of the other kids at Classic by keeping his balance while jumping up and down 20 times on an inflatable platform! His name was annouced as the winner and he was given a prize. Our lil’ monkeys rock!" Blogger

"We went Classic Skating up in Orem. I'd never been before and I had a lot of fun! I don't think I've been to a roller rink since like elementary school. It brought back so many memories!
We all got roller blades because we weren't brave enough to try the classic skates. I really miss when I used to roller blade a lot growing up. It felt good to be back on roller blades. :)
There were a lot of little fearless kids there that we were all so afraid of hitting or knocking over. But after 9 they kicked out everyone under the age of 16 for Disco Night, so that was a little nicer to be able to skate a little more freely. I LOVED the music for Disco Night and had a blast "dancing." I wish I knew how to dance better on roller blades. There were so many guys on skates who had all these cool moves and were break dancing in the middle of the rink and weaving in and out of all the other skaters with their smooth moves. We even saw a much older guy who was just skating around the rink. I love seeing older people having fun doing stuff they love like that!" Blogger
