Orem's Midtown 360 is a large apartment complex and retail space.
It was originally designed to be a luxury condominium complex with retail and commercial space targeted for the lower levels. When the real estate recession hit beginning in 2008, the developers lost the building and it was acquired to become an apartment building. For several years the partially constructed buildings sat as an eyesore with no additional work being completed.
Finally, in 2015 work resumed under new ownership and the condos were converted into apartments. With the increased occupancy, several restaurants and businesses have opened and it is now a vibrant and thriving center.
University Place in Orem Utah continues to evolve and grow. The latest updates include:
Dillards - Dillards and Woodbury Corp announced in January 2020 the relocation of Dillards from Provo Towne Center to the University Place. It will be in the old location of ZCMI and then Macy's Department Store. The old department store is being demolished and replaced with a brand new structure.
